Galym Analytics
Galym is an intelligent system for analysing Kazakhstan’s science to support commercialisation
Galym analyses scientific publications and data on research activity in Kazakhstan to show the state and development of research areas. This analytics helps identify promising fields and informs decisions about which scientific results may be in demand among business and industry.

What the dashboard will show
Research activity over time
Number of works per year for 2010–2025. The incomplete year 2026 is shown separately.
Institutions
Universities and research institutes: number of works and citations, with search and sorting.
Research areas
Four broad domains (physical, social, life and health sciences) and the main topics within them.
Data and limitations
- The register lists 210 institutions. 106 of them have publication data; the others have no records in the source and are not included in the figures.
- The data reflects the situation on 4 October 2026. The 2026 figures cover only part of the year, so they cannot be compared with full years.
- Works are counted separately for each institution: a paper with authors from several institutions is counted for each of them, so institution figures should not be added up to a national total.
- Research topics are the main topics that the source assigns to each institution. They are indicative and are not a complete count.
- The page shows only aggregated data by institution and research area. Data on individual researchers is not published.
- The analytics is informational: it shows the state and trends of research, but does not by itself assess the commercial potential of results.
